Well, we’re seeing it again! The platform ankle bootie is sticking around, and staying fresh! For Spring we’re seeing them in vibrant colors, and different textures. Coral patent leather, soft pebbled leather, and stone details take the shoe to the next level. They are a little less edgy,and more feminine flirty while still being ultra-modern. Wear a fluid dress with movement, or cigarette pants with a blousy top to balance out the weight of the shoe. So much cuter than the Ugg! The ‘Zzee’ by Kate Spade is more feminine, and much more fun to hang around the house in. The pom poms make them fabulously festive for this time of year. So, ditch the old and “oh so over” Uggs and go out and get some flirty Zzee’s!

This spring, fuller skirts are all around us, and I can’t help but be reminded of the fashions of the 1950’s. Cinched waists, fuller skirts, and full figures were all the rage. An hourglass shape was considered the ideal; round hips were the ultimate in femininity. This spring, we are embracing a bit of our past once again. Fuller skirts are perfect with a fitted top, and sandals. You can also dress it up with pumps or espadrilles. This particular cut works well on pear shaped women, it accentuates the tiny waist that is created by fuller hips. This is a feminine, flirty trend - have fun with it!
