This season we’re seeing more strapless dresses, and they no longer have to be for ultra formal events. You’re wearing strapless to cocktail parties, dinner with friends, a work party, or a charity function. We’ve put some looks together to show you what we mean.

Look #1:

A strapless dress in a rich cocoa color will warm up any skin tone. This dress works well for a cocktail party as well as for dinner with friends. It’s not super dressy when you accessorize with gold pieces and a funky animal print bag.

Everyone will turn to see the lady in red. You will walk with confidence into any party for work or dinner. It’s elegant. The woman who wears this has certitude, spirit, and grace. When you meet her you’re not likely to forget her.

Is it possible to make it through the entire summer with only one pair of sandals? We think we have found a pair of sandals that work everyday, and with every outfit. The Tory Burch Ali sandal in metallic silver and gold. It’s the perfect combination of hot and cold, the yin and yang, the day and night. The Ali goes with white, it goes with black, it dresses up, and it dresses down.  It’s an investment you will be glad you made. You’ll go through an entire summer without having to worry about what shoes to wear. That, in and of itself, is sheer bliss.
