The flowers may not be blooming yet, but spring has certainly sprung in the fashion world. The department store windows have mannequins dressed in a bouquet of colors, ranging from bright yellow Daffodils, to powerful pink Tulips, and purple grape Hyacinth. The site of it certainly has us yearning for brighter days. The colors are lively, and reflect beautifully on most skin tones. Easter is only weeks away and it’s a chance for us to let the light into our wardrobe. For those who celebrate, it can be a festive time filled lots of fun and candy. Awaken your spirit with a beautifully colored dress. Go for a less constructed silhouette, a flowy dress that is as breezy as a spring day. That way, you can look beautiful and feel relaxed while enjoying the celebration. The ladies in the tents last night loved the color blue. While waiting for the fashion shows to start we noticed a real trend among the attendees at Bryant Park: brilliant blue. There was nothing basic about this blue, it popped on every girl who wore it. Most of the girls embraced a blue satin top with either black slacks or with a skirt and opaque tights.
