Is it possible to put together a great looking outfit for under $250.00? The answer is, unequivocally, yes! We’ve selected pieces that have designer appeal without the sticker shock. All the items in this outfit can easily be mixed with other pieces in your wardrobe. They are basic in nature, with modern design. When you want to update your look without spending a lot of money, stay basic on most items. Try not to go overboard on “of the moment” patterns or prints. In six months those pieces will serve only to date your look. Clean lines always look fresh and current. If you want to introduce a trendy print or piece do it subtly. A print shirt over white denim, a clutch that dabbles in color. Keep it simple. Accessories that are neutral are always your best bet. They have a longer shelf life, and can go with a number of different ensembles. For example, a muted gold or silver shoe is one of todays best neutrals. It’s the shoe that walks with all kinds of outfits. That is truly how to get more bang for your buck. Kimora Lee says it best: “Be stingy with your money! Don’t splurge at the mall, … and definitely don’t give it to your boyfriend.”

  • 4 white tees

What’s better than a white t-shirt? It’s an essential piece that’s in every girl’s wardrobe. How many different styles of this staple do you have? We think you should have at least four to complete the white tee picture. First, you’ll need one that works with skinny, or fitted jeans. This one should be longer and should have more volume to balance out the bottom half. The second one you should have is a fitted tee. This cut will work with your summer skirts, and easy fit pants or shorts. Make sure it isn’t too tight, it shouldn’t look like a sausage casing. A lot of women think tighter is better, because it’s sexy and shows off their figure. That’s not always the case. Keep in mind, if it’s too tight, it will only make you look heavier than you actually are. Then there’s always the dressier white tee. This one is made from finer material, and has added detailing.  A sweetheart neckline, or puffed sleeves is a more involved t-shirt and is easy to dress up. So, you can wear it with jewels, dark denim, and pumps. That’s a fabulous dinner outfit. Lastly, there’s the basic crew neck casual tee. This tee is like home, it’s a basic that always feels comfortable. Who knew so much thought went into a white t-shirt? If you have a favorite tee, let us know who makes it. We’re always looking to add to our collection.
