Simplicity

This year, a simple leather flip-flop is all you need. TKEES really started the trend, but now you can get leather flip-flops almost anywhere. Gap has a great pair, in a million colors. That’s what I love about the leather flip-flop – they come in a bunch of colors and they are cheap enough that you can get a few pairs.

So far, I have black and sea green. I’m definitely getting a nude, and a metallic.

STOP

Honestly, the only reason to get her college football paraphernalia is if she’s a die-hard. Otherwise … OMG … just don’t. I get that the company is trying to latch onto anything to make a sale, but good god man – STOP! This is all a man would need to see to somehow convince himself that he now knows exactly what to get the woman who pushed his three kids out of her VAGINA. Trust me, if you want to survive … you better think beyond the college football tee.

I’m not saying you can NEVER buy her a cute college football tee, just not for Mother’s Day.

Let me break it down for those men who are trying to justify the purchase in their head …

acceptable

It is acceptable for a side gift. It is acceptable if she is accompanying you to a football game. It is acceptable if she sets her alarm clock on Saturday morning so she doesn’t miss Game Day.

It is NOT acceptable if you’re hoping this will entice her into liking football. It is NOT acceptable because it’s a gift you would love to receive. It won’t make it any better if you tell her she’ll look hot in it.

Big is Back

Last Spring was all the about the cat eye shades, but I think I’m over it. I’m really loving the biggies. I like them round but squared off on the sides. So Freaking Fabulous!

Curvy girls can have fun with bright colored skinnies too. Skinny jeans used to be reserved for the super skinny bitches with zero body fat. Not any more! They’re finally being cut to fit more body types.

how to wear?

It’s all about balancing out the curves. Don’t go tight on top. Go for a more fluid tank, tee, or blouse. Depending on your height and size – consider a longer top. You’ll know when you look in the mirror if your top should be longer … if you feel like it’s too bright on bottom – go longer. But don’t go so long that it looks like you’re wearing a dress. Balance.

It seems like everywhere I look I see IKAT print. There’s Ikat high and low. You can spends hundreds, or under fifty dollars to get the look. It’s a crisp, seaside look, especially in blue and white.
