Jean Vouté Pratt is the founder and CEO of Gift Girl, LLC. A native of Bronxville, NY, Pratt has always loved style and fashion. As a young girl, she would accompany her mother to trunk shows for Galanos, Valentino and Oscar de la Renta. “I learned what a beautifully crafted piece of clothing was like - what it felt like - how it was meant to fit,” she says. “The quality of the fabrics they used was unbelievable. I learned the difference between couture and ready to wear.”After receiving her BA from Boston College, Jean put her love for fashion to work at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. There, she developed a reputation for helping male friends find great gifs for their spouses—a talent she decided to turn into a business. Compelling market research confirmed the need for a luxury online personal shopping source for men, she launched Gift Girl —the premiere online destination for finding the perfect gift for her. She and Michael reside in Rye, NY with their two young sons.
