With a fringe on top

Fringe

I fell in love with L Space’s fringe bikini top last year, but never purchased it. The one featured above its a great knock off from Tilly’s

I like the texture fringe adds. Plus, if you’re looking to add volume up top – this will do the trick. You’ll be seeing fringe on everything in suits – tops, bottoms, cover-ups, etc.

Cut-Out

The cut-out is a much more interesting way to do a one-piece. It can actually gives you lines, and accentuate things that may not even be there, and vice-versa. There are a million ways to go with the cut-out (also known as the monokini) – just try no to go too Playboy with it. There are definately some on the market that are a little risque. Keep it sophisticated. You’re not the star in your own soft-porn video.

Crochet

Another trend is the crochet bathing-suit. This is my least favorite trend. I think there’s a place for it. Like if you’re away with your boyfriend at some steamy beach resort. If you’re going to the Country Club – maybe No.
