I’m not going to insult you by telling you again how classic a trench coat is. Instead I’m going to tell you about how it has evolved. Leather sleeves and/or leather trim gives the classic a modern feel. When we first started seeing the leather accents, they were reserved for the edgy crowd. It’s not really considered edgy anymore – the leather accents have made it all the way to classic status. You’re fine either way, it’s really a matter of preference.
