Every Spring we can expect to see floral patterns emerge. It’s a nice way to celebrate the end of Winter.

I tend to go for a more dramatic floral. I like it to make a statement, I don’t want it to fade away. To use a fashion buzz word – it should POP. Not all floral are created equal – example below.

What Happened Here?

I don’t love the smaller floral prints. They remind me of Little House On The Prairie, and not in a good way. These flowers wilt, they fade into the background, they are sad. Florals should evoke happiness. The colors should be vibrant, and full of life. What do you think?
