high hopes

I always have high hopes when designers do a line for a store like H&M, but I’m almost always disappointed. To date the only designer that did an insanely good job was Anya Hindmarch for Target. When I carry the bag I bought from that collection people almost always mistake it for a high-end piece. I love to tell them it’s from Target!

We don’t have an H&M here in Dallas, but I look forward to hearing the feedback from you on the Lanvin Collection. I HOPE it’s brilliant!

    II have heard very different opinions about this line, based on the showroom previews: most people said they loved it, but others said that the unfinished hems on the dresses and the cheap replicas of more expensive accessories were a huge disappointment.

    Personally, I am still trying to decide whether I will, in fact, get up in the middle of the night and line up for hours in the cold for this collection. There are a few pieces I really like, but I doubt that they come in my size! The black on black zebra trench coat however, could become a wardrobe staple so I might just show up to try and score that ;-)
