Usually when the doorbell rings at 8:30 in the morning, it’s the boy across the street looking to play. When I turned the corner to open the door, I saw the fedex woman walking away.

A package?

I know I didn’t order anything, I’ve been saving for the inevitable Fall boot purchase.

As I opened the door, I saw it was a big box.

Hmmm…

IT’S FOR ME!!!
It felt like Christmas morning. I practically skipped into the kitchen to find out what was inside the box.

thinking of you

I saw there was a card, and when I saw the writing on the envelope … I knew who it was from.
The card simply said…

thinking of you. Love Mom and Mary

That was all I needed to hear, someone was thinking of me. I smiled, and choked back some tears. Then, I ripped open the goods!

what I found

The box was filled with all kinds of face and body essentials. It was like a spa day delivery. Everything smelled delicious.
