I can’t cook!

It’s not that I completely can’t, it just doesn’t come naturally to me.

It helps (sometimes) if you dress the part! I’m wearing an apron from The Hip Hostess.

BAKING, on the other hand

I can do! So, whenever there is a family party, I bring dessert. Today I’m making my Mother-in-law’s apple pie, and my fabulous brownie’s.

Yes, on occasion I take a lick. How can you resist?

    That apple pie looks gorgeous! And you have a beautiful kitchen.

    I think my husband and I are going to visit some friends in Fort Worth in January, after I get back from my deployment/the holidays. We’ll probably head down to San Antonio/Austin too, so if you have any tips on things to do or see, let me know! :)
