for mothers …

It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year

We can’t wait until school starts. We’ve spent all Summer driving you from camp to camp, loading up for the beach, fighting to get you to bed before midnight, and doing an obscene amount of laundry. We want the routine back. We want the uniforms, school until 3, and bed at 8:30. It’s not that we don’t love our kids, we just need a slight break!


what I wore

I needed an outfit that could keep up with my boys and beat the heat. I chose long linen shorts, double tank, gold sandals, and I based my jewelry around a necklace my boys gave me. On the front it says ‘I am’, and on the back it says ‘Loved’. I layered other gold necklaces with it.


the process begins

First up, haircuts.



Then a facial steam to regroup for the new school year.

Out with the old, in with the new. I like the boys to start the school year out with a brand new pair of shoes. They each needed a uniform pair, and they could get one fun pair.



The uniform calls for black shoes. Harry chose Nike.



For fun – Jack chose Star Wars Clone Wars shoes. Oh, and they light up … of course!!


gift with purchase

Who doesn’t love a gift with purchase? Well, Jack was thrilled with the mask that was free with his Star Wars shoes.



It was a great day with my boys! We laughed a lot, and had not one argument! That is sweet success.
