delayed, delayed, cancelled!

I semi-stress when I have to plan a travel outfit. I have so many things to consider.

• Keeping up with kids
• Temperature control
• The ability to run to the gate – if need be
• Comfort
• Style (obviously)
• making it through security without  bells going off

Well, the weather squashed my planned outfit.

When I let the dogs out this morning it was already sticky and HOT. The long sleeved tee, and cute blazer would have made me miserably hot and sweaty. I went for a light cardigan that could withstand the heat, but also keep me warm during the flight. I had a substantial tank on underneath, just in case I needed to remove the sweater.

The Sephora gave me something to do while we were delayed. As my darlings played, I looked at make-up. Win – Win!!

It didn’t take long for me to turn to Starbucks and People for entertainment. Unfortunately, after hours of waiting, the flight was cancelled!
Luckily, we get to do this all over again tomorrow. Wish me luck!
