I live in the gray area. I don’t see things in black and white, it’s never either/or. I appreciate that there’s simply more to the story, that there are things that can’t be explained.

Which is why I never have rules like “black and navy don’t go together”. There may be a time when black and navy look brilliant together. Prada mixes black and navy all the time.

the unexpected

Mixing different shades, and textures is how you make an outfit interesting. I’m wearing several different shades of gray, but they relate.

things that bring it together

The sandals, and the jewelry pull this look together. It’s hot and cold, silver and gold, light and dark. The gold reflects the light of the tan denim, while the metallic connects the grays.

where to wear

I’m off to Robin Hood, and then to a japanese steak house. My son Harry LOVES hibachi! Cheers! See you tomorrow. xoxo
