Isn’t it so fun to just hang out with a girl friend? You get to talk about silly stuff, laugh till your cheeks hurt, check out each other’s shoes, and plan the SATC 2 movie night.

The older I get, the more I appreciate my days. I used to be all about the evening – hot restaurants, cool scenes, etc. I still like that, just not nearly as much as I enjoy doing something fun during the day.

the heat is on

It’s coming, I can feel it! The Texas heat is about to take over. I’ve been choosing dresses, because they’re more breezy and cool. This style dress makes me feel more feminine, it’s like a modern June Clever. It’s playful!

make it your own

The dress comes with a scarf belt, but I prefer it with a skinny snakeskin belt. Sometimes, you’ll feel obligated to wear it as the designer intended, resist that urge and make it your style.

cherry on top

The bag is always the cherry on top. The wrong bag has the power to interrupt the overall feel of an outfit.
I love the scale of this bag with the dress. I was tempted to go for a girly bag, but that was too obvious and not interesting. This bag makes the outfit more casual … perfect for a play-date with a friend.
