Aprons are making a comeback.
Why is that?
The other day I actually found myself looking at the aprons in anthropologie. Uh … I don’t even cook! In an effort to convince myself that I needed one … I DO bake!

    My sister used to work at an anthropologie store, and I always looked at the aprons! I have a black & white one in a style similar to the cupcake apron, but in a toile print.

    I think the resurgence of cute hostess aprons (in lovely vintage fashion) has everything to do with more people getting back into the kitchen. Accessible recipes/TV show tutorials from Food Network and people like Rachael Ray have made it cool to be in the kitchen again, and I think the current economy has made it more desirable to cook vs. eating out.

    You're probably right. It's kind of like the return of family game night. People are having to get back to basics for food and entertainment.
