contemplating a break

Nobody is home, I’m not expecting anyone, and I don’t have to pick up the boys for a few hours. Maybe I’ll play in the backyard for a little bit.

I guess I can just wear my running shorts and sweaty tee, right?
All of a sudden that BIG voice inside my head says…

So, I pull out my new suit by none other than Trina Turk. Feeling completely exposed I grabbed a long cardigan to shield the world from my winter white body.

Should I go all the way? Big hat, and shades?

70′s went into the 80′s quickly

The sweater was getting way too hot! Time for a costume change.

I recently bought this pretty, eyelet maxi dress coverup at Everything But Water (dress by Elan). It’s perfectly light weight for the Dallas heat… so far.

    I knew it!!! I thought it may get too hot to even wear this dress – ugh! I should have listened to my instincts. Oh well.. it's pretty enough to suffer in :)
