When I think of Jack Rogers, I think of Jackie O walking around Martha’s Vineyard.

Why?

Jack Rogers, like Jackie O, have become synonymous with classic American style.
This classic sandal now comes in a luxe version. The Couture collection comes in genuine lizard and Alligator, and the sole is crafted from smooth leather. You’ll be able to feel the difference, and you should. Especially since you’ll be spending $198 for lizard, and $398 for alligator.

Where to buy

The Jack Rogers website says they’re sold exclusively on their site, but I first saw them at Neiman Marcus (in store).

    Hi SO, I love your jackie o references, I was watching Grey Gardens this weekend and fell in love with her cousins Edith Beales Jr. flower print dresses…then i was just reading a book i have on the kennedy family,(looking at pictures) and saw that Jackie had a very similar printed dress on as well. I came here to see if you were on to what i feel in my bones is sure to be a revival…any idea who made these dresses or where? they appear to be mostly sleeveless & jersey, in say cream and then have a few large orchids or day lillies printed on them…not many but a few large, with stems and leaves.     I just read your post, i concur! Indeed, Drew pulled out all of the stops, she was fabulous! As was the ever stunning Jessica Lange. I also noticed and loved her long white satin “hoodie” dress…and was thinking of it when i saw Pink perform at Grammy's 2010…if you happened to watch. really fun. no time to shop these days, sad! but thanks so much for responding and for your great posts i love sneaking away to read them!     Now I am definitely getting a new pair of Jack Rogers this summer! I have beat-up hot pink ones from high school that need to be replaced and then actually worn! Alas, I will not be upgrading to the Couture Collection though I wish that I was!

    Actually, I think Jackie O was wearing Stephen Bonnano sandals which are custom made in Florida – I own a pair which I wear a lot.     I have both Jack Rogers and Bonannos, and the Bonannos are far superior. When you hold them side by side, the leather on the Bonannos is thicker…plus, the Bonannos have full leather soles. The Jack Rogers have some kind of manmade material. I also find my heels hurt with the Jack Rogers. Jackie wore Bonannos, by the way! Here in Palm Beach, they are much more freuently worn.

    I am quite sure, by the way, that Jackie is wearing Lilly Pulitzer prints mentioned in the previous post. Here in Palm Beach, the socialities uniform is: Lilly Print shift and Bonanno (or Jack Rogers) sandals! By the way, there are 2 places to get Bonannos…from Steven Bonanno or from Monica Bonanno…they both have websites and aparently split the company in their divorce! Monica has a factory store in West Palm Beach where you can get your sandals on the spot.

    Stephen Bonanno Sandals are “The Original”! Though JR has done a great job marketing their sandals, the quality & detail of Stephen Bonanno Sandals are far superior. Having worn both there is no true comparison in comfort & style options! Stephen Bonanno Sandals have family history dating back generations – what about Monica? ????? Not really sure what is up with that.. Stephen Bonanno Sandals are awesome!!!! For the most bang for your $$$$ the only choice is Stephen Bonanno Sandals. With them you get more than you pay for!!

    Nordstrom, endless.com, piperlime-they are pretty available now. Growing up on the east coast, every chic woman had these…in every color! :) I love what I have. Just a classic look!
