Don’t show up empty handed. It’s hard work to throw a party, and to get people together over the Holidays. Bringing just another bottle of wine is a cop-out!
Bring ingredients for a pancake breakfast the morning after the party.
Bring a fondue pot with melting chocolate.
For the dog lover, bring a cute basket for their dog. Dog lovers usually like their dogs more than people!
Consider a lovely scented candle that she could use in her powder room. I love the Jo Malone Grapefruit scent, it’s a clean fresh smell. I’ve also recently discovered the Japonica candles, and they have beautiful scents.
Or you could always bring some beautiful Holiday flowers. Put some thought into it, it’s a nice gesture.
