VOGUE Fashion Fund Awards
The winner is … Sophie Theatellet. The French born, Brooklyn based designer took home the grand prize at the CFDA/VOGUE Fashion Fund dinner in New York City last night. It was a fabulous fashion and star studded event. Names like Anna Wintour (of course!), Diane Von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, and Thom Brown were there to support this effort.
Nicole Kidman, presented the award, which includes $200,000 and a year of mentoring. Sophie Theatellet was not the only designer mentioned during the evening. There were two runners up – Monique Péan and Patrik Ervell.
Cartier sponsored the elegant soirée that was hosted at Skylight Studios. Sounds decadent, doesn’t it? The videos will give a real sense of the project.
