“ June 7 2007 was the day our lives changed forever. My husband, Peter was diagnosed with ALL ( Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and given a 25% chance of survival. In August 2007 Peter received a stem cell transplant at the Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, Massachusetts. His brother, Bill was his donor and saved his life! Incredibly Peter’s blood type converted from A+ to B+.
BE POSITIVE is our message to the world.
As a family, grandparents, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, aunts and uncles, we rallied together with the incredible help from friends and talented doctors. Two years later our family is a stronger, healthier and a more grateful family than ever before. OUR story is about Love, Family, Science, Miracles, Generosity, Medicine and Positivity! We all face challenges in our lives. You have the power and strength to overcome anything.
We are the lucky ones. It is time to give back and ease the next family’s cancer journey. A portion of our proceeds go to the Stem Cell/ Bone Marrow Transplant programs at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute”

Well, they had me at hello! I’m in, I’m on board, I love the message. My father died from cancer, and I would have done anything for him to recover. This family is giving back, doing what they can to help the next person with this disease. Absolutely!! I’m passing it on.
