what’s your guilty pleasure?

what's your guilty pleasure

Come on now, we all have at least one guilty shopping pleasure. There’s at least one thing you love to splurge on, even if you feel completely guilty about it. Maybe it’s a beautiful dress that you know you don’t need, but it looks gorgeous on you. Or maybe it’s the season’s hottest boot, that you know you’ll only wear a handful of times. It could even be that bracelet you’ve been eying for years, and you’re done waiting for someone else to surprise you with it. I really want to know, what item do you justify spending the big bucks on? What is your guilty pleasure?

Hmmm … It really depends on the year for me. I tend to spend on beautiful overcoats, funky jackets, classic handbags, and designer dresses. It’s the kiss of death if I try on an expensive dress and it looks good on me. I obsess, and constantly think of how and where I would wear it.

Coats. Sigh. My sister and I both suffer from this sad, sad affliction – we both live in Texas and are total suckers for a gorgeous wool winter coat. Or faux fur. I used to be able to justify it with frequent trips to New York…

Also, cocktail dresses. I usually DO end up wearing them, but like you I love imagining where I will wear it. That's part of the fun!
