travel in style
Travel attire can be tricky. You want to be comfortable on the flight, but you don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed. If you’ve been in an airport recently, you know people are confused on this issue. There was a time when people would actually dress up to travel. Men would wear a jacket with a nice shirt and slacks. I’m not saying we all have to dress up, necessarily, but is it too much to ask that you get out of your pajamas? Let’s pull it together, and travel in style. It doesn’t take much. In fact, be smart about it and wear some of the pieces you will use on your trip.
What to wear
Put on a structured shirt in an easy fabric over jeans. Then pop on a jacket that will also work with the pieces you packed for the trip. In that same frame of mind, choose a shoe. A ruffle gladiator will read updated, and “in the know”. Last, pick a tote that pulls the look together. The tote should relate to the shoes as well as the other pieces in your outfit. Trust me, you’ll not only feel better walking through the airport like this but you’ll be received well. Avoid the ‘juicy’ sweats and sneakers!
