I don’t usually cover men’s fashion, BUT this is too good! I ran into Seph Skerritt the other night at the Fashion 2.0 Meet-Up in Manhattan. He was one of the entrepreneurs presenting his company, Proper Cloth, to a room full of fashionistas. Very brave of him! Lucky for him, he’s good looking. Even the most merciless females were sweet on him from the start. Still, if his company had been a bore we would have abandoned him quickly. It wasn’t, and let’s just say … “he had us at hello”. So, what does this guy’s company do? Proper Cloth brings the custom tailored shirt to a whole new level. Custom shirts that you can design yourself… at a reasonable price? Can’t be done! Yes it can, and he is doing it. The fabrics are beautiful, the prints are fun, and the fit is perfect. Ok, when will they do this for women? I love the whole concept! While his company may be geared toward men, I think it’s a great site for women.

Here’s Why:

1. It’s a great gift idea.
2. Create your own “boyfriend shirt”. It’s more original, and much more fabulous.
3. Let’s face it, you’re the one dressing him anyway!

    I checked it out. I still think Proper Cloth is a better site. It's easier to use, better looking, and has more fabric choices.

My friend’s a journalist and got a sneak preview to their BETA, but supposedly, they “empower the consumer to design it themselves.” It’s a DIY for custom dress shirts. I’m looking forward to whether or not they can do it better than shirtsmyway and proper cloth. another website is beta.9tailors.com

    I don't let my girlfriend dress me. But, in my defence, I think I'm better dressed than most guys my age… or most guys in general.

    I'd really like to get one of these shirts. Under $100, made to measure, made in the States? I simply can't refuse.

    I find the floral part of the french cuff shirt a bit too much for my liking. I do not mind the design being included around the collar area though.
