Gap meets CFDA/Vogue

Gap teams up with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund to create a limited edition khaki collection. The collection was designed by the finalists of the 2008 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. The designers are…Alexander Wang, Vena Cava, Albertus Swanepoel.
Seriously, I love when new modern designers get their hands on a store like Gap. They immediately transform average design into edgy fabulous pieces. Why can’t there always be a design section in Gap? Check out the collection: Gap

I can't believe that I am actually wearing Gap khakis today. I haven't worn them in a gazillion years, but they are cooler and more lightweight than denim and it's going to be 100 again today.

Khaki has been long overdue for a jolt of designer influence. Interested to see how it flies!

I know, I hope it wears well! I need a warm weather staple like a great khaki pant. Currently – I have NOTHING!

Nice to see that Khaki ca be fashionable too, its just makes me laugh at the many overseas people that come to South Africa and Africa too that think its really cool to wear Khaki on trips to the bush and every where else.
