A few days ago, I received an email from a woman wondering what to wear to the Kentucky Derby. It’s a question that has been on my mind ever since. I wondered… what would I wear to the Kentucky Derby?

First of all, I would definitely wear a dress. It would either be a pretty floral or a beautiful bright color. Then there’s the hat! The hat is what brings the whole look together, it will set the tone for the entire outfit. Keep in mind the hat also has the power to ruin a look. Choose wisely, but also have fun. The Kentucky Derby is the perfect time to go all out feminine. Wear that dress you’ve been saving for a special occasion, the gorgeous designer shoes that hurt your feet, whip out the jewels, bring your best bag, and a fabulous hat. Go For It!
