Burju Shoes – comfort & style
Have you ever wondered how dancers can move so fluidly in high heels? Don’t their feet kill them? Apparently, dancer’s shoes are made to fit more comfortably. Burju Perez, a dancer, and established choreographer has designed a line of shoes that combines fashion with the comfort of a dancer’s shoe. Hallelujah! Her shoes are said “to fit like a sock”. You can wear them for hours without skipping a beat. WOW…I’m intrigued.
What do I think:
I’m usually pretty desperate to find a shoe that I can run around Manhattan in, and not want to cry at the end of the day. So, I’m thrilled at the idea of a comfortable shoe. Sometimes I’m even willing to sacrifice a great looking shoe for a comfortable one (sort of). There are a few styles in the Burju Collection that interest me. I like most of the “Dance Naturals” collection. I love a nude shoe, it elongates the leg and blends beautifully. A few of the shoes in the Collection are a little too jazzy for me, but overall I’m willing to give them a try. Honestly, I’m willing to try anything that claims such comfort.
What do you think of the Collection?
