I’m so tired of the same Safari Style that emerges every Spring. On the runway, designers like Gucci make it look modern. The Gucci pieces (see below) have intriguing detail in the hardware and the accessories used to enhance the look. However, as the look trickles down to the mainstream stores it loses all the elements that make it “cool“, and it becomes boring. So, it’s up to you to bring back the “cool” factor. Add a belt to your simple safari jacket. Bring metallic into the mix with accessories, or sandals. Layer pieces in a utilitarian way, as if you’re in your jeep riding around the Savannah.
