I heart Ronson – Charlotte Ronson’s collection for JC Penny
JC Penny tries again to reach the fashion forward crowd. Their first go was with Kimora Lee Simmons, but her collection did not do very well. Will Charlotte Ronson save the day? I think she has a pretty good shot. Her collection is young, fun, and perfectly on trend. I just hope JC Penny stores display the clothing in the way Charlotte would put them together. That’s more than half the battle for a lot of girls. The magic happens when you see how the designer pulls it together. Let the women see the vision, how one piece works with another. Otherwise, it’s just another rack of random clothing.
