Pick a paint that fresh and fashionable for 2009

“Can I get a manicure? ”
“Sure, pick your color.”

That is so much easier said than done. If you’re anything like me, choosing one color from a never-ending wall of nail polish can be a daunting task. “What color should I choose? Which one will look best? Should I be reasonable and pick a light color that will last? Or should I go for a more daring shade?” STOP. We can help. There are really only 4 colors you have to choose from. 1. The trendy color of the moment : A dark purplish shade. 2. An earth tone: Bronze is the most fashion forward choice in this category. 3. Deep red: The red of the moment has deep berry tones, with some specs of gold. It should look rich and velvety. 4. Pale pink: It should look Completely natural on your nails. You don’t want it to look too white, or too pink – it should look like you were born with it. What paint would you pick?

I either go for the pale natural pink or the deep color. it used to be that deep burgundy, black-red. Now it's dark purple of course, as you said – my favorite is Butter London Branwen's Feather, which is a deep purple with a little bit of shimmer. I don't like overly shimmery nailpolish, but this one is subtle and really pretty.

    2. I don't normally go for the shimmer nail polish either – but they have done well with making them look rich & not cheap.
