3 reasons why this maxi dress works for the plus-size woman

Leave a response ->

Why this maxi dress works:
1. It accentuates the waist.
2. It’s a good length.
3. It has just the right amount of volume.

Why the 3 maxi dresses on the bottom don’t work:
1. Too much volume, adding bulk to your frame.
2. Doesn’t enhance the waist enough, which makes it look like a sack.
3. Too long, which makes it look like a nightgown.

    I knew it! I knew there was a maxi-dress out there I could wear :-) Thanks Jean, you are a genius :-) Now if I could find that in a solid color…

  2. You will look beautiful in this dress! I haven't seen it in a solid yet – I will let you know if I do.

  7. That is very cute. It's really about getting out and trying on different versions of styles. My husband absolutely hated the shift dresses, but then I found one that had a good fit and he was all for it! It's not about the style but the way the style is made.
