argyle tights for girls under 30
Carrie Bradshaw is practically the only girl over thirty who can wear argyle thigh highs, and I’m not convinced she didn’t look a little silly. The under 30′s have a much better chance of pulling off this look. It’s young, collegiate, and a bit Gossip Girl. When we hit 30, we should try to move away from school-girl fashions. It’s time to hone in on a new look, a more sophisticated look. If you’re in your twenties, you can rock this look. I’ve loved the look of thigh-highs ever since Alicia Silverstone pranced around Beverly Hills wearing them in Clueless. Paired with a pleated skirt or a sweater dress, it’s naughty meets nice. It’s a playful style, but maintain an innocence about it. Stay away from looking like a playmate.
