london calling
Somewhere between the airport and the express train into the city it hits me, I’m in London! I gaze out the window of the train in awe of the sites. The uneven cobblestone streets, the perfect tilt to the brick buildings, it’s as if I’m riding the train to Hogwart’s with the amazing Harry Potter. I’m still completely absorbed in the moment as I step out of the English cab and walk up the stairs of The Berkely, greeted by a man in a top hat with a fabulous accent. With the swoosh of the revolving door, I hear the clanking of fine china from Tea being served in the Caramel room. I can barely contain my excitement to get out and enjoy this lovely city. I quickly check in, so I can change my clothes and be on my way. The outfit is elegantly urban with edgy details that reflect the city. An outfit that I can comfortably walk all through Harrods, then pass by my favorite homes in Belgravia, and back to the hotel for a drink at the Blue Bar. I collapse on the big fluffy duvet with a sigh, as I decide what to order with my hot-chocolate. The perfect ending to the day!

Like Pepys, when I am tired of London I will be tired of life. This makes me long for chilly, drizzly London streets, a hot cuppa, and a snuggly coat and scarf. And awesome boots.

It does look like the J. Simpson jacket! I'm loving the tulip sleeve lately. I think it's so feminine.
