1. The Slouchy Boot
This sexy style boot looks great going into fall. Tuck in a pair of jeans, and throw on a long cardigan and you’re understated gorgeous.

    • 2. Patent Leather
    No need to put away your patent leather from spring, unless it’s in a spring color. Designers are shining up wool and cashmere with a pop of patent for fall.

    • 3. Leather Bomber Jacket
    The leather bomber jacket is also going strong into the fall. It will look great with a pair of jeans, a tee, wrapped with a scarf.

    • 4. Ruffles
    Ruffles remain! A ruffle top will look great under your leather bomber, or a long cardigan. Pair it with skinny jeans, some slouchy boots, and you’re on it!

    At times we all wish the skinny jean would go away, but you’ll be glad they’re around when it’s time to tuck them into your tall boots. So, don’t burn them yet!

    It’s an easy style that’s low key and can work over anything. We’re seeing it well into fall. It looks great over jeans, or belted over a dress.

      It’s confirmed! I will be purchasing slouchy boots this fall! There is a pair in Lucky that I must go back and peruse – I was in doubt, but no longer!

      I pretty much have everything else already – hurrah! What do you think about plum for fall?! I have a divoon new (old) eggplant patent clutch. And I am sticking with my brand-new motorcycle jacket from Bs As. But I love that See by Chloe one…sigh.

      I’m getting the boots too! I love the look – especially with jeans. I love plum for the fall! I would say the plum patent clutch is a great piece to have this season.

      In St. Tropez in July window shopping. Agree on the ruffles. And, love to hear that the fabulous patent leather boots I bought here last year will still be in. The only difference is that not so much with the bomber jackets, the leather jackets here are all belted (but bomber jacket material, or patent leather) – and Ray-Bans are the rage. Skinny jeans are in for the under 30 crowd (paired with converse high-tops). Over 30, it’s the wide leg trouser jeans (loving my new pair). Saw a few cardigans, but not much. My guess is that they were in the 20-something store as they look fab with skinny jeans.

      @barchbo – saw some eggplant/plum in the fall lineup. Rest of fall was grey, black, brown, beige, netural.

      Just got the heads up on your blog via twitter. Will add it to my fashion ones!

Online at one of my absolute favorite sites, shopgoldyn, they have a great pair of slouchy boots by Charlotte Ronson on sale! And my personal favorite a blend between a fold-over boot/bootie by Goldenbleu on sale too! Style mavens need to check this store out!
